I was born in the southern U.S. and raised by a 21 year Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and his hard working, successful, Tennessee born bride. They set the bar pretty high for their three kids...so I decided to just walk under it and go into radio at age 16. After years of "town to town, up and down the dial", I made my way to Billings in 2005. That turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It lead to a great job, and the love of my life, my daughter, Eliana. I'm happy to be raising her in a place with a great mix of conservative family values and progressive ideas about inclusion and embracing the differences in people (provided they are not too liberal or from California).

Top Five Places You’re Most Likely To Wreck in Billings
I made this video a few years ago (I think in 2016), but the list seems to be standing the test of time....at least it seems that way to me. Do you agree with my list? What would you add or remove?
Ranch Dressing on Pancakes?
Today is "International Pancake Day" which reminded me of a phone call I got one time while discussing the many uses of Ranch dressing in Montana. I had people calling in to tell me they put Ranch on spaghetti, tacos, garlic bread, etc., but the one that really sticks out in my mind is pancakes.
What Temperature Do You Call Warm?
For me, it's short sleeves and jackets by 40, and shorts by 50...but I'm one of those "always hot" kind of people. In fact, now that everyone is gone, I have the A/C on in the studios.
Why I Never Upset A Restaurant Employee Until After I Have My Food
I almost hate to ask, but if you work in the food industry, feel free to share the worst thing you've seen when it comes to "revenge on a bad customer". Have you seen anything that compares to Danny the Dipper? Have you seen anything worse than that? I hope not, but I'm curious.
Winco Grand Opening Sunday (3/3) at 9 a.m.
For those who have been keeping an eye on the new Winco throughout the construction process wondering when it will finally open its doors, I'm happy to say the wait is almost over. The Grand Opening will be this Sunday (3/3) at 9 a.m.
Deer Hunting Pic Gets Woman Banned From Tinder
For the hunters out there, this story is already enough to get you "triggered", but it gets worse...apparently, there are thousands of male profiles with similar pictures who have not been reported or flagged as inappropriate. In other words, if you're a lady who enjoys hunting, you might want to keep that fact to yourself until after the first date.
Don’t Be Cruel – Bring Your Pets Inside
Today I saw someone post some disturbing pictures in one of the local Billings groups of two dogs left out in the snow. The person who posted the photos said these dogs were left out all day regardless of the weather. I almost shared this post, but I am trying to learn the lesson "sometimes pictures don't show the whole story" and I would rather witness things with my own eyes before I take part in causing a riot.
Stuff To Do With The Kids This Weekend
This weekend, you can catch something more tween appropriate at the Babcock: Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part. My daughter and I will be checking that out on Saturday. She's never been inside the Babcock and I'm sure it will be a memorable experience.
Lunch at COR Enterprises
Had a cheap lunch out at COR enterprises today and since there are likely plenty of people who don't know anything about this organization, I thought I'd share. COR's primary goal is to provide training and employment opportunities to people with various disabilities. There's a little more to it than that these days, so if you want the in depth version, I suggest clicking here and reading the "About" page on their site.
How Do Teachers Stay Healthy?
I used to be that person who never got sick, but apparently those days are over. I'm on my second cold of 2019 and it's February. I suppose I could blame my aging body that I don't take proper care of, but I still choose to blame my daughter and the germ factories she hangs out with on a daily basis at school.
