Greg Gianforte has announced that if he is elected governor, he will not be keeping his salary. Instead, he will be dedicating the earnings to a special manufacturing scholarship for veterans and low income Montanans. The program is called Gianforte Manufacturing Scholarships and it aids low income Montanan's and veterans to get welding and machining certificates at Montana two year campuses by providing 50% tuition assistance.

GIANFORTE: We’ve had enough career politicians in Helena who think the people are here to serve them. It’s supposed to be the other way around. That’s why, when I’m elected governor, I’ll dedicate my salary to a special manufacturing scholarship for veterans and low income Montanans. This is about serving Montanans, and providing better outcomes for working families.”
