We had a blast with 'Captain America 2' and it's the kind of film that we can see ourselves watching over and over again. And, what better way to do that than with the 'Captain America 2' DVD and Blu-ray, which has officially been announced for a September 9 release date and will include an audio commentary, never-before-seen deleted scenes, a gag reel and more.

The 'Captain America 2' disc will be available in a 3D Blu-ray combo pack (which includes a copy of the movie on 3-D Blu-ray, a regular Blu-ray disc and a digital copy of the film that you can download via iTunes), standard Blu-ray and single-disc DVD.

As is par for the course for the Marvel DVDs, there will be a ton of special features, including making-of featurettes, an audio commentary with directors Joe and Anthony Russo, deleted scenes, bloopers, a new Marvel One-Shot and much more.

What we don't know yet is what the new One-Shot will be about. The Marvel short included on the 'Iron Man 3' disc - "All Hail the King" - focused on the further misadventures of Trevor Slattery, so perhaps it's possible that the 'Captain America 2' inspired One Shot will focus on a supporting character from this film (maybe something Agent 13 or Crossbones related?).
