In a surprise announcement on Sunday, British singer and U.K.'s 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole revealed that she and boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini were married a week ago. Cole and Fernandez-Versini had been dating for three months, according to People.

Cole, 31, made her announcement on Instagram and showed off her new wedding ring.

"I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news," she wrote in the photo's caption. "Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."

This is the second marriage for the former 'Girls Aloud' singer. Cheryl had previously been married to former English football player Ashley Cole in 2006 before splitting up in 2010.

It's going to be a busy year for Cole: In addition to returning as a judge for 'The X Factor' in England next season, she will also be releasing her fourth studio album in November.

Congratulations to Cheryl and Jean-Bernard!
