Dark Souls 2’s New Pictures Have Us Ready for More Death

Everyone's favorite demonic dungeon crawler is back! Based on these new pictures released by Namco Bandai, Dark Souls 2 is looking to be thoroughly different than its predecessors. This series might be synonymous with exploration, death and agony, but it looks like we're going to be addicted to it yet again.

Within these newest screenshots (pictured below), we get to see a lot more of the secondary characters you will be interacting with throughout the game. It's glad to know that not everything in Dark Souls 2 is waiting to gang up on you. But Namco has also thrown in a few pictures of some of the new baddies you will encounter as well! We can't wait to see how Dark Souls 2's story will build on the Demon's Souls mythos, given that series frontrunner, Hidetaka Miyazaki, has claimed that there won't be any major connections between Dark Souls 1 and 2. We'll get to light bonfires and start fighting the things that go bump in the night again once Dark Souls 2 gets released this March. In the meantime, enjoy these new photos of Dark Souls 2 in action!
