Do Dumb People Know They’re Dumb?

An extremely important question for this Monday morning.

Someone recently was telling me about some issues they were having with a friend. And then she said the phrase I can't get over, "Do dumb people know they're dumb?" HUH?! I've never thought about it like that. I've always used the saying, "You don't know what you don't know" but I'm thinking the dumb saying is pretty relevant. People like to politely pass it off in a bunch of different ways like, "oh they are just stressed" or "they aren't educated on that" and blah blah blah but honestly I think it just comes down to dumb people have no idea they are being dumb! You can certainly loop dumb drunk people into this, too.

Do you have a friend, co-worker, family member who is so dumb sometimes that you have to ask yourself if they know how dumb they're being?
