Drunk Driver Hits School Bus In Billings
I can't even. Here is what I don't understand... A few things actually.
1. Why were you drunk in the middle of the day?
2. Why were you driving if drunk?
3. Why are you driving without a license?
4. Why are you driving without registration?
5. Why are you driving without insurance?
I'm just glad that none of the children on the bus were seriously injured. People like this are the most selfish of all humans. They disregard what is going on around them and what could happen to innocent people through their actions.
KCTR Newsroom - The Billings Police arrested a man late Wednesday after he struck a school bus with 16 students on board, then left the scene of the accident. 36 year old Randy Americanhorse faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, criminal endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to notify law enforcement, driving with an expired registration, driving without insurance and driving without a license, according to a press release issued by Billings Police Lt. Brian Korell.
Americanhorse was reportedly driving his Pontiac Grand Am at roughly 60 mph when he crashed into the busload of kids at approximately 3:14 p.m. yesterday near Alkali Creek Elementary School, according to the press release. The collision occurred at a curve on Alkali Creek Road in the Heights about a block north of the school, which had recently let students out for the day.
