Fifth Harmony are growing up and getting tough in the video for their new single ‘Bo$$.’

The girl band released the jazzy tune over the weekend and are now gearing up for the video premiere on Tuesday, July 8. In their behind-the-scenes interview with MTV News, Camila, Ally, Normani, Dinah and Lauren explain how their new tune is a representation of them growing up and maturing.

“As we grow, our music grows, and it’s very natural and organic and it’s nothing that’s forced,” Ally shared, “which is really, really important to us, because we don’t want to just do something drastic just to do it. We want to do something that’s more real to us.”

There’s no denying they’ve grown up — the video features more skin, more boys and more attitude. They even take turns arm wrestling (and winning against) hot, muscled guys, a concept that visualizes the girl-empowering lyrics of ‘Bo$$.’

“The concept for the video, it’s very empowering and kind of defines ‘Bo$$’ in different settings,” Ally explained. “We have four or five different setups and each kind of represents us in our own element, us kind of owning that certain situation.”
