Music stars from around the globe have descended on L.A. for Monday night's Grammy Awards, and all of the glittery festivities and swag bags that come with it. When our syndicated PopCrush Nights radio show was invited to the this weekend's Backstage At the Grammys event at the Staples Center for chats with Troye Sivan, Alessia Cara, JoJo and more, we jumped at the chance — and the fact that it all went down with the sounds of Rihanna and Adele rehearsing in the background was all the better (!!). We were also treated to an intimate set from Nathan Sykes.

Westwood One, who organized the event, also shared their own on-site interviews with some of pop's biggest stars. Though Selena Gomez isn't up for a Grammy herself this year, she had glowing things to say about her "We Don't Talk Anymore" collaboration with nominee Charlie Puth (who we also sat down with on Friday). "What's so great is I love meeting good people organically," the Revival singer told Westwood. "We met at a group thing and we stayed in touch. Then he kind of got to know me, knows my story, and we ended up working together. It was fun!"

This year's new crop of nominees definitely aren't taking their accolades for granted. When did Tori Kelly's insanely successful year fully hit the Best New Artist Grammy nominee? "I feel like I have those reflecting moments every night when I go to sleep," Kelly said. "I try to focus on the day, and not get ahead of myself. Every day I'm just like, wow, this is cool that this is my life."

"It's been a crazy, fun ride," Leon Bridges, whose debut Coming Home is up for Best R&B album, told Westwood. "This time a year ago I was still washing dishes. I love writing music, but I never thought it would go here."
