Remember when you were a kid and $100 seemed like a crazy amount of money?  Now it takes a lot more than to pay rent/mortgage every month. How far does $100 go in our state compared to others?

The Tax Foundation gathered data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In New Jersey, your $100 could buy $87.64 worth of products, while in Montana your $100 could buy you $106.16 worth of stuff, according to Mental Floss.

Hawaii is even less than New Jersey where $100 will only buy you $85.32 worth of goods and services. And, then there's Washington, D.C., where $100 will buy you only $84.60 worth of products.

Yeah, Montana.  We all work hard, we'd be working harder if we choose to live in some other states.
