It was hinted yesterday that we'd be seeing a teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' very, very soon, and now we have official confirmation of where and when fans will be able to sneak their very first peek at the newest film from the 'Dark Knight' director. The teaser will play in front of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,' which means we'll be seeing it in just a few short weeks!

The Film Stage reports that an 'Interstellar' teaser will play in front of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' Though we haven't seen any official photos from Nolan's follow-up to 'The Dark Knight,' we're not entirely surprised -- the director likes to keep things under wraps. The teaser reportedly clocks in at one minute, 43 seconds, which should give us a fair amount of footage to go on for the upcoming sci-fi pic.

The film, which is inspired by the work of renowned physicist Kip Thorne, follows a group of explorers investigating a newly discovered wormhole "to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."

'Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, David Oyelowo, Matt Damon, and Michael Caine, and hits theaters on November 7, 2014.
