It's safe to assume that John Legend wont be voting for GOP front-runner Donald Trump come this election.

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter got into it with Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., on March 11, when the two men engaged in a brief but fiery argument spawning from an insensitive tweet posted by Trump Jr.

On Friday evening, Trump Jr. made fun of some of his father's campaign rally protesters, tweeting, "Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn't even answer. The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!"

Legend didn't take too kindly to Trump Jr.'s mockery of those standing up to his dad, firing back, "I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn't complicated."

But things didn't end there. Trump Jr., of course, made sure to respond to Legend's comment, tweeting dismissively, "Here we go again. That can't be the answer for everything you don't like. That's why the country is so divided now!"

Holding his ground, the artist quickly shot back with, "no. It's just the answer when racist racists are saying racist shit and are endorsed by the KKK."

One things the two men do agree with, apparently? Colleges. When a pro-Trump troll called Legend uneducated, both men were quick to point out that they actually attended the same institution of higher education: the University of Pennsylvania. Who knew?
