Maybe the literary world isn't sold on Kim Kardashian's penchant for selfies, but there's at least one person who's on board with her habit of digital self-portraiture: Democratic candidate for President of the United States Hillary Clinton.

According to USA TodayClinton held a fundraiser last night (August 6) at Scooter Braun's house that included—in addition to Kardashian—guests like Kris Jenner, Jessica Alba and Tom Hanks. On the drive over, Kim tweeted her hope that she'd be able to steal a quick pic with Clinton ("Excited to be meeting our next President tonight!" she wrote), and it appears that she completed her mission.

"I got my selfie!!! I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country! #HillaryForPresident" Kim captioned an Instagram photo that finds her casting a sultry glare at the camera while Clinton smiles wide. And the icing on the cake? Kim's husband, Kanye West, sneaking into the frame behind the politician. Wonder if any of his tracks made the cut for Clinton's next campaign playlist...?

The fundraiser came on the heels of this election cycle's first Republican debate, which was moderated last night in Cleveland, Ohio. And though Clinton was clearly busy elsewhere, she made sure her thoughts on the event were still clear via social media—especially when it came to some GOP candidates' recent aim to defund Planned Parenthood.

"I'm proud to stand with Planned Parenthood," she tweeted as an image from an August 3 statement. "I'll never stop fighting to protect the ability and right of every woman in this country to make her own health decisions."

What do you think of Kim's latest selfie venture?
