Kylie Jenner Warns Consumers Against Fake, ‘Dangerous’ Kylie Cosmetics
Caring cosmetics queen Kylie Jenner warned consumers against buying fake makeup falsely marketed as her official line that’s being sold by unaffiliated, third party retailers.
Jenner posted a series of Snapchats yesterday (October 26), in which she called out the website KylieCosmeticsOutlet.com, which sports a similar design to the official Kylie Cosmetics.
“[The website] looks exactly like mine, but it’s not,” Kylie said. “So I want to be really, really clear and let you guys know that the only place to get my products is KylieCosmetics.com, and anywhere else is fake. Make sure you guys check the URL because these other websites are making fake product.”
Kylie says she became aware of the fake website after several consumers tweeted her about orders that either failed to arrive or didn’t deliver the promised product.
“I’ll get tweets sometimes saying your orders haven’t arrived or the color’s not right and I have my customer service team look into it,” she said, “and after we look into it, it always comes down to the fact that these orders were not placed with KylieCosmetics.com.”
Kylie warned fans to stay vigilant and noted the the price points on the imposter sites are often the same.
“I feel responsible to give you guys warning because there are people out there trying to steal your money, and I just want you guys to have the very best,” she continued. “It’s fake and dangerous, and it’s the same price, so I don’t even see the point.”
Jenner also noted some of the fake cosmetics contain harmful ingredients like glue.
“The ingredients that they’re using in these fake products are also really, really dangerous, which is my biggest concern,” the reality star said. “Someone just tweeted me one of their fake products and they said it has glue in it — glue, people!”
@KylieJenner I got a koko k and they contain glue! And I noticed when I put it on, it started burning! It smelled just like yours send help!

But for those of you who did manage to purchase one of Kylie’s limited edition Smile Lip Kits from her official site, good news: The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star donated 100% of the proceeds from those sales to Smile Train, a charity that helps provide cleft repair surgery to children in need.
Kylie presented Smile Train CEO Susannah Schaefer a check for $150,000 yesterday (October 26), which will help 638 children in need of surgery, according to Bustle.
“Through my company Kylie Cosmetics, I was able to create a beautiful pink lip kit shade called Smile specifically for Smile Train,” Kylie said in a statement. “I couldn’t be happier that 100 percent of the net proceeds are going straight to Smile Train to help kids around the world get the surgery they need to help them have beautiful smiles and the opportunity to live healthy, happy lives.”
