Not that it is too much of a surprise to most locals in Montana State, but three towns in Big Sky Country have nabbed honors in the recent survey of the '2014 Top 100 Best Places to Live'Bozeman made #23 in the annual feature on the Liveability website for it's top ranking ski mountain and home to Montana State University. The centrally located Montana town is also the home to many thriving technology companies and a large contributor to the medical, cultural, and economic trade center in the southwest Montana region.

Also, Missoula earned its place at #61 for it's nearness to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Described as a "natural playground" with plenty of outdoor activities, Missoula also takes pride in it's top college town status and it's wide variety of local breweries and dining establishments.

Helena also made the cut at #95 for it's mostly older scenery with most homeowners than most cities featured. Also Helena is widely known for the most singles per capita and shorter commute time. Another advantage to Helena was it's close proximity to a major airport.
