The fair is by far one of the best things about summer. The food and entertainment is defiantly the best part to me. I don't really do rides I am kind of baby when it comes to them! I did the Zipper once and there is no way in the world I would ever get back on it! The Ferris Wheel is more but speed but it too kind of scares me. Not a fan of heights at all. I spend my time there shoving my face full of cheese curds and funnel cakes in between catching all the entertainment and shopping at the various booths! I better get my value pass soon because this year has some great stuff to offer!

This year the lineup for the concerts as well as the dirt activities and free shows is awesome as always! The fair kicks off on August 11th and ends on the 19th. The first show is Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo &Melissa Ethridge on August 11th. Followed by Paramore August 12th and then Bill Engvall with special quest Gary Brightwell on August 13th! The dirt sports are always fun to catch! Supercross is on August 15th and the Yellowstone River Roundup PRCA Rodeo runs from August 17-19th. As always there is a massive list of free show including Coyote Wild, The High Country Boys, All-Star Dog Show, Animal Cracker Conspiracy to name a few! If you want to check out the full list of things happening at the fair this year go to www.montanafair.com/

Something I will totally be checking out is SCRaP. Have you heard of it before? Me either but it sounds super neat! Here is what Montana Fair's web site says about it!

SCRaP in Billings is but only for the week of fair. The upcycle Boutique will have s work available for sale. The creation station will be set up for fair-goers to come in and create a craft like a scrap wrap bracelet, a calendar journal, bottle cap jewelry, etc.

SCRaP partners with other nonprofits in Billings and will have information on their good works available. SCRaP welcomes any nonprofit with the mission of making life better for kids and the community of Billings to join us.

SCRaP will also have a feature artist everyday demonstrating what they do and how they do it.
