The group 24/7 Wall Street just did a study about the worst states in America for women, and Montana is number 8 on the list.  That was surprising for me, but... I'm not a woman. In fact, many women in my life have frequently pointed out to me that I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to women (and most other subjects), so this might be totally true.  What do you think?

The study was based on things like women's earnings compared to men, percentage of women in government and management positions and female life expectancy.

I really do hope to get some feedback from Montana women.  I have a daughter growing up in this state and if something is broken, we've gotta get it fixed before she grows up.

In case you're wondering, here's the full list, starting with the worst:

  1. Mississippi
  2. Wyoming
  3. Idaho
  4. Utah
  5. South Dakota
  6. North Dakota
  7. Indiana
  8. Montana
  9. Alabama
  10. Kansas
