Montana Renaissance Festival

Have you ever been out to Zoo Montana for the Montana Renaissance Festival? It is a total blast! This year it is on Saturday, June 3 at 10 AM - 6 PM. Not only is it the Renaissance Festival but the Yellowstone Highland games will be happening as well from 9 AM - 3 PM. This a kid friendly event so bring the whole family down for a day you won't forget! I have gone a few times and it is so much fun to watch. From the pipes and drums to the Farmer's Carry it is none stop action and activities. This is defiantly an event you don't want to miss out on. Welcome, Lords and Ladies, to the Montana Renaissance Festival at Zoo Montana! Step back to a time when romance and chivalry abound. Enter a magical world where Knights, Lords, Ladies, and Fairies play, a time where people took pride in their craft and trade. Come thee hence and explore the Renaissance Festival! The largest event of its kind in this area, the Montana Renaissance Festival is a time to revel in the atmosphere of a 16th Century European Country Festival. Explore the bustling market place. Mingle and interact with costumed characters and enjoy their endless merriment and mayhem. The Yellowstone Highland Games will be held during the Montana Renaissance Festival on Saturday, June 3. Whether you have a wee bit of Scottish in you or not, you will enjoy the games. There will be Scottish and Irish heavy athletic competitions in the bison field. The competition will open with a performance by the Caledonian Pipes and Drums of Billings. A Farmer's Carry (run with heavy weights) will be held at 11:30am in the Plaza. Want to compete?
