After a reported list of 2019 Grammy Awards winners was shared on social media on Monday night (Jan. 28), the Recording Academy is denying that the leaked information is legitimate. An Academy spokesperson tells Billboard that the organization is also looking into the possibility of taking legal action.

"There is no legitimacy to this," says the spokesperson. "Grammy Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the Grammy Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by [accounting firm] Deloitte in sealed envelopes."

The tweet containing the leaked information has been deleted, but the details were recorded by the Twitter account @mainpopdata. The video shows someone scrolling through the alleged list of Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year winners on the Grammy Awards website; the user, Billboard reports, also claimed to have seen a longer list of winners after hacking the site.

The @mainpopdata Twitter account reports that the other alleged winners discovered by the hacker include Maren Morris, Zedd and Grey's "The Middle" in the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance category and Taylor Swift's Reputation for Best Pop Album. The tweets note that there is "no video proof, just [an] archived version of the webpage."

The 2019 Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 10. The televised ceremony will begin at 8PM ET on CBS; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony will be available to stream online earlier in the evening. Performers at the event will include Brandi CarlileKacey Musgraves and Dan + Shay, among others; Alicia Keys is hosting the show.
