This is going to be a week of complaining on my blog, I can just feel it.

Today's topic is littering. It's always been a pet peeve of mine because there's no good reason for it. It's either laziness or selfishness or some combination of the two that make people litter.

I went out to the BLM land at the 17 mile-marker, north of Billings on the way to Roundup. I went on Saturday when it was hot, knowing that it would probably be crowded. It was, but I got a spot and got out of my pickup to do some shooting.

But first, I spent 10 minutes picking up approximately two boxes of spent 12-gauge shotgun shells, one box of .45 caliber brass, 9mm, and about two to three boxes of .223.

Nobody likes picking up after others, but in order to keep this area open for shooting, I guess I'll keep doing it.

But from now on, I'm going to write down license plate numbers of people who are pulling out. Pick up after yourselves. I do.
