The clothing store, Rue 21, will be closing nearly 400 stores nation wide leaving the retail chain with only 700 stores across 48 states. In a Facebook post from Rue 21 they said that they needed to close stores in order to keep profits and basically keep other stores open.

I was immediately concerned about the stores here in Montana and specifically the one here in Billings in the Rimrock Mall. I thought surely another store in the mall can't be closing! And thank goodness that is not the case! The Rue 21 here in Billings will be one of four stores staying open in Montana. Great Falls, Kalispell and Missoula are the other cities that will be keeping their store front. Unfortunately, Bozeman, Butte and Havre will be losing their stores. There were a total of seven locations here in Montana and now Rue 21 fans will have to shop at the remaining four.
