Forget baseball. Selfies are the national pastime. And we know that because of how some ladies behaved while at a baseball game.

Look at this group of young sorority girls fervently snapping selfies during Wednesday's game between the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix.

These girls are so focused on taking selfies and taking more shots than they'll ever need that you get the feeling you can air drop them out of the stadium and into a war zone and they wouldn't even know it.

As one of the announcers noted, "Every girl in the picture is locked into her phone. Every single one is dialed in. Welcome to parenting in 2015. They’re all just transfixed by the technology."

To be fair, neither team is having a season that has gotten fans excited, but, still, you'd think if they went to the game, they'd watch, right? Right?!

We get the sense that when they got home and were asked how the game was their answer would sound something like this: "Great. I got 40 likes on my picture in the first 15 minutes."

It's not just parenting -- welcome to the world in 2015.
