Shooting In Billings Monday Morning Ruled Suicide

The Billings Police Department has reported that the shooting that happened Monday morning has been ruled a suicide and not a murderer as originally investigated. A self-inflicted gun shot wound was the reported cause of death. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
(12/5) KCTR Newsroom - Billings Police are investigating a Monday morning shooting that left one man dead on the city’s North Side. At about 3:45 a.m. the Billings Police Department responded to 121 N. 23rd St. where a man aged 20 to 30 was dead of a gunshot wound, according to a news release from Sgt. Pat Curry. Witnesses told officers a man had fled the scene on foot and a suspect was later located on the 200 block of South 28th Street. He has been held for questioning and was not identified Monday morning.
