Move over Ryu Hayabusa, because there's another ninja from the 8-bit glory days poised to blend in a more modern setting. That's right, Strider has returned, and this time he's not starring in another Capcom crossover.

In this newest video released by Capcom UK, we get to see Strider for the first time in 2014. Strider encounters the Pooh sisters (we know, we know), whose tag team attacks require Strider to stay at far range until he can exploit an opening. The heavy trooper mecha is more in-tune with Strider's roots, which consisted of giant robots fighting an acrobatic ninja. The aerial boss, Solo, fights just like Boba Fett, with a jetpack, laser blasters and an array of futuristic, bounty hunter weaponry.

Strider is due to come out sometime this year for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
