I took the kiddo out to Movies Under the Stars this past Saturday and it was a great time. I get a little sappy for the "family stuff", but I just can't help myself. As we were walking to Lewis And Clark Middle School, my daughter with her blanket in hand, I was wondering if she would think about this when kinda thing when she's all grown up with kids of her own.

If you haven't been to one, all you have to do is show up. There is no admission price or ticketing of any kind. There are concessions available (popcorn, hot dogs, candy, etc.), the proceeds of which support local charities. Definitely a great night out for families on a budget and a good memory maker for all.

Next week's movie is Fantastic Beasts and will happen at Riverside Middle School. They're encouraging people to dress up for this one, so if you have a wand and cloak lying around, feel free to take part. Bring a blanket or a chair and go check it out Saturdays at dusk.
