The Cuban flag will begin flying over their embassy in Washington, D.C. today. This event is a milestone in Cuban/U. S. relations, according to President Obama.

Fidel Castro was responsible for thousands of deaths during his tenure, squashing every opposition party he encountered. Freedoms are still not celebrated in Cuba.

President Obama said that you can not hold something against the Cuban people that may have happened 50 years ago. Interesting, because our President is still holding something against the people from the south that happened in the 1860s.

Maybe we should replace the Confederate flags with the Cuban flag.
