Our beloved rain-soaked Seattle murder-mystery 'The Killing' will pour down a fourth and final season on Netflix this coming August, and from the looks of things, it's detectives Holder (Joel Kinnaman) and Linden (Mireille Enos) who are on the wrong side of the law this time around. Check out the first full trailer for Netflix's debut of 'The Killing' season 4, and find out what the final episodes have in store!

The day-to-day of Seattle murder-mystery seems to be the least of Linden and Holder's worries, judging by the first season 4 trailer, which sees the pair desperately attempting to cover up their own killing from prior finale "From Up Here / The Road to Hamelin." Linden may yet reach a breaking point, as squandered justice for the season 3 murders weighs on her during a new military school investigation, while Holder defiantly fires off "I ain't going to prison!"

Here's how Netflix describes 'The Killing' season 4:

The fourth and final season of THE KILLING picks up right after the season 3 finale. As Detective Linden (Mireille Enos) and Detective Holder (Joel Kinnaman) struggle to manage the fallout from their rash actions at the end of last season, they are assigned a new case -- a picture perfect family is murdered, survived only by the son, Kyle Stansbury (Tyler Ross), who was shot in the head during the massacre. Joan Allen guest stars this season as Colonel Margaret Rayne, the headmaster of the all-boys military academy where Kyle attends. The new season also stars Gregg Henry, Sterling Beaumon and Levi Meaden.

August 1 seems criminally far away to debut the final 6 episodes of the series (and yeah, they're pretty final), but what say you? Could Holder or Linden end the series behind bars? Will the shippers finally get their just desserts? Investigate the trailer for the fourth and final season of 'The Killing' above, and file your report in the comments below!
