Titanfall Beta Rumored to Start in February

If you're looking to run around in a mech early in Titanfall, you might just get your chance in a rumored beta that starts in February.

According to Xboxygen (translated by CVG) pictures taken at a Micromania store in France feature an advertisement that claims a beta test for Titanfall will launch on Feb. 14. That'd be a pretty sweet Valentine's Day present for the Xbox One or PC player in your life.

Xboxygen has said that a source pointed out the beta will run until Feb. 19 and will be exclusive to France's Micromania stores as well as other GameStop locations.

A week before this photo surfaced, EA apparently sent out closed alpha invites for "an exclusive trial for an upcoming EA title on Microsoft's Xbox One" that featured a link to a Titanfall website.

Though both EA and Respawn Entertainment denied the claims that the test was a beta, it would seem the appropriate time to run a beta test, considering that the game proper will be released on PC and Xbox One on March 11. For its part, Respawn has hinted there is an announcement forthcoming.
