The Montana Highway Patrol reports that two men involved in a shooting incident at the Laurel Wal Mart were the same who escaped capture Saturday evening following a chase and crash. 

In the Saturday incident Austin Allery, 18, and Hayden Lowry, 19, eluded capture after leading officers on a chase in a stolen pickup. Officers reported that the Saturday evening chase reached speeds of up to 85 miles per hour. The truck eventually crashed off Benedict Gulch Road around 11:00 pm.Officers reported finding several firearms in the stolen truck.

One suspect was arrested on the scene at the Laurel Wal Mart and the second suspect was arrested after a brief chase. The second suspect took police on a chase for close to 30 minutes before his car went off the road near Snowline Vista Way and Old U.S. Highway 10. The suspect was taken from the scene in an ambulance.
