Bust out your Eve dolls: Life-Size 2 is happening, Disney fans!

A sequel to the cult classic Disney/ABC television movie, aired on the Disney Channel in 2000, is officially in the works. On Wednesday, Freeform announced that Life-Size 2 starring Tyra Banks, who played doll-come-to-life Eve in the original film alongside Lindsay Lohan, will air on the network in December 2018.

Speaking to Banks at Freeform's Upfront Presentation in New York City on April 19, Entertainment Tonight reports that Banks will reprise her role as the magical doll in the film, which will follow Eve as she awakens to "help a young woman learn to live and love again."

"Five years, four scripts, and finally we realized, Eve needs to grow up," Banks told ET. "She's been around for a while. She's been alive for a while. She needs to grow up and experience more adult things. So, you're going to see a very different Eve on Freeform."

As for Lohan, who starred in the original film as a teen girl grappling with the death of her mother, it's unclear whether the actress will return to make a cameo in the sequel.

"I love Lindsay," Banks gushed about her former costar. "I have not [reached out to offer a cameo], but I think it would be interesting. I have to talk to my producing partners. I think it would be interesting, right? That was my girl back in the day!"

However, the model-turned-actress admittedly has another young star in mind to join the cast: Zendaya.

"I would love Zendaya," she revealed. "I think Zendaya would be really interesting."
