Young Thug was among the performers who kicked off the 2019 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (Feb. 10). The Atlanta rhymer was part of Camila Cabello's ensemble performance of "Havana," which also featured J. Balvin, Ricky Martin and Arturo Sandoval.

Only a few Latin artists have taken center stage at the Grammys, let alone opened the show, in its 61-year history. So this is a rare treat to see, along with Thug performing on the national stage, as well.

During the medley, Thugger joined Cabello for her performance of “Havana," which was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance. The Atlanta rapper was decked out in a white-and-black tuxedo with diamond-encrusted shoes.

Thug rapped his verse from the song while a parade of salsa dancers stepped behind him in colorful outfits. Cabello herself looked gorgeous in her bright yellow mini-dress as she sashayed across the stage while singing her chart-topping hit.

Latin star Ricky Martin, dressed in an all-white suit, danced with Cabello while Sandoval blew on his mighty trumpet. Finally, J. Balvin closed out the performance with a brief rendition of song “Mi Gente.”

Overall, it was a sizzling-hot medley and a great look for Young Thug.

Since the release of "Havana" back in September of 2017, the song has gone five-times platinum and nabbed a win for Video of the Year at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

Salute to Young Thug and the rest of the artists who delivered a great opening performance at the event.
