If you didn't see the fire on Friday evening you must have been out of town because the smoke took up most of the Billings sky. I was on my way home on I-90 W when it started to get really bad. The sky was black and I actually ended up having ash on my other car when I arrived home.

Luckily, the fire has been contained and no one was harmed. However, 1395 acres are scorched! Originally it was said that a combine had sparked the fire but after further investigation, it looks like lightning may have been the culprit.  For the full story, with updates, click HERE.
