A Nice Surprise at the Radio Station

I love coming in to our building here at the radio station. If you've never been up here, we're on the top floor of the DoubleTree hotel, in the middle of downtown.  The views are awesome and honestly, it never gets old.  "This is what a radio station studio should feel like", I always think to myself when I settle in for a show.

This morning when I came to work, it wasn't the view that caught my attention.  Nope. It was our kitchen area. I came in, flipped on the lights and saw this nicely organized rack with all of the cups and plates properly placed. This might not seem like a big deal to you. But these cups and stuff used to be just jammed into a cardboard box on the floor.  I wish I had a "before" picture.

What impressed me most about this situation, is that one of my co-workers took a tiny bit of initiative and found this cute little rack somewhere and spent some time out of their busy day to organize it. Co-worker, whoever you are, thank you for taking pride in our work areas.  You rock.
