Back to School In Billings

My kid had her back to school day yesterday at the new one on Colton. Beautiful building and a great ribbon cutting ceremony featuring my favorite mustachioed mayor, Tom Hanel. When I first showed up, I thought people were protesting, but it turns out it was just teachers holding signs to show which grades they were representing. Other than that, it was pretty much a drama free day and most kids seemed pretty excited to be there.

Billings District 2 students have their first day of classes today, so tomorrow Kaitlyn and I will be looking for any horror stories you might want to share. Specifically, who has the hardest kid to wake up in the morning? Most kids have a little bit of an adrenaline rush for the first couple of days, but next week might not be so easy.
