Bacon Straws Say What?

Bacon may just be the best food in the whole wide world. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! If you think about it you really can put it on everything and in anything. If you love bacon then Bacon Fest is the place for you! Bacon Fest will be on November 11th at the Metra. There is only 2500 tickets available. So speaking of bacon I saw something on Facebook the other day and it blew my mind. If you drink Bloody Mary's or Caesars then you know bacon is a must. This idea just took that to a new level. Bacon straws. Mind blown. Here is how you do it. It is so simple I think even I could do it!

Step 1. Roll tin foil in to the shape of a straw.

Step 2. Wrap it in bacon. (you want to use tooth picks to help keep it on) then place it on a baking sheet wrapped in tin foil.

Step 3. Bake it according to the bacon direction or to your satisfaction.

Step 4. Let them cool and then pull the tin foil out.

Step 5. Put it into your drink and enjoy!
