Beach Toys Already?

Look... I know we're all really anxious for spring.  And I know that nationwide retailers start loading up stores with seasonal merchandise much earlier than the season actually begins. I understand that. But I was a little surprised when I had to stop at my local Walmart last night for odds-n-ends and saw this stocker rolling out what appears to be stand up paddle boards. I just about dropped my tub of cheesy poofs.

I'm fairly certain we are at least four months away from hitting the beaches of Cooney.  Heck, it'll probably still have ice on it the end of June. Maybe this is Walmarts way of positive thinking? My co-worker said swimsuits are already out at Target as well. Nice. Meanwhile, good luck finding a shovel or a pair of snow boots. They've been gone for weeks.
