Billings Child Molester Sentenced To 100 Years

There are a lot of screwed up people in the world but people who prey on and abuse little children are the lowest of lows. I don't know where I stand on the death penalty but 100 years in prison is the next best thing and where this man should be. Thank you to the court and the jury for seeing that this man is a danger to the community.

KCTR Newsroom-  The son of a child care provider who admitted to multiple child sex abuse charges was sentenced Thursday to 100 years in the Montana State Prison.
40-year-old Jared Addison Terhune pleaded guilty in August to five counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual intercourse without consent and four counts of sexual abuse of children. He was sentenced by Yellowstone County District Court Judge Michael Moses.

The children reported being abused by Terhune while at or around Sunshine Daycare, run by Terhune’s mother, Sunshine West, at her home in the Heights.  Sunshine Daycare was licensed as a family child care center since 2010. It closed after the first report of abuse was made to police.  Terhune no longer denies any of the charges. He said everything the children had reported was true.  He said (quote) “I should have killed myself a long time ago, I know that now.” (end quote)
