One of the best places to be on the Fourth of July is of course Laurel! It is always such a blast from the street dance the night of the third to the fireworks of the fourth! There are so many activities in between those two events for the whole family to enjoy. I love spending the afternoon of the fourth out at Laurel Pond or at Sportsman's fishing, swimming, and it wouldn't be the fourth without a BBQ! Laurel puts on a handful of events during the day of the fourth. If you like pancakes or parades or even like to run check out what all they have in store for fun this year!

A Pancake Breakfast at 6:00am to 11:00 am at Fireman’s Park (Main St and 1st Ave) sponsored by the Laurel Jaycees.

$6 adult / $4 children 12 & under / 6 and under FREE

The Chief Joseph Run begins near the picnic shelter in Thomson Park.  8 Milers will start at 6:30 and 2 & 4 milers will start at 7:00.  Last year we had 250 runners.

The Kiddies Parade begins at 10:00 at Western Security Bank and ends at Firefighter’s Memorial. No Registration required.

The GrandParade is at 11:00 am. Thousands line the streets and view the parade.

The Food and Craft Fair begins at 9:00am and ends at 9:00 pm so people can shop and purchase food all day long.

Activities and Entertainment are planned for throughout the day.

The Fireworks begin as soon as it is dark.  Laurel has the largest fireworks display in Montana
