The Billings Kiwanis Club will host their 23rd Annual Youth Fishing Jamboree at Lake Elmo on Saturday, July 20 from 9:30am to 12:30pm near the boat ramp.

Kids ages 5 to 12 are encouraged to register for the Fishing Jamboree at YMCA, Cabela's or CLICK HERE to sign up online at no charge. First 120 that register will be part of the Jamboree.

The jamboree willprovide fishing safety and instruction from Carol Henckel ~ Billing’s first lady of fishing, assisted by interested volunteer leaders from Montana Pike Masters, Walleyes Unlimited, Magic City Fly Fishers, Montana Audubon and YMCA/Kiwanis canoeing.  Montana Fish, Wildlife &Parks provide free fishing ~ no fishing license required.  Fishing poles will be shared with those in need.  A fun and rewarding experience is promised all with instruction, the thrill of fishing, canoeing, fly fishing and picnic.

A parent, grandparent or guardian must accompany all youth fisherman who need to bring: Fishing Pole, Small Bobber, Small Hooks, Mosquito Repellent and Sun Screen.
