Ghostly Image in My Backup Camera

I think the backup camera on my car is pretty sweet. But, I'm old-school and after the newness factor wore off, I rarely check the backup cam and just use my mirrors to see what's going on behind me.

The other day during this ridiculous cold spell, I was backing out of my parking space at the grocery store. Checked the mirrors, all good and hit the gas. I just happened to glance down at the backup camera and saw the image above on my screen and slammed on my brakes. What in the holy hell was I about to back into???

Closer inspection revealed that, no, I was not about to run over a ghost or a weird, glowing, pole shaped thing from outer space. It was just an icicle dangling in front of the camera. Silly me. Stay warm out there. Spring is right around the corner.
