Heading To Fantan Lake In Wyoming – Any Suggestions?

The hubs and I are off again to go explore something new. We will be heading to Fantan Lake in northern Wyoming. I have seen a few photos and looked at Google Earth and I'm thinking it is pretty remote, however since I have never been there, I don't know! I'm still loving W. Rosebud Lake and Emerald Lake (where I was a few weekends ago) but I know that it's good to go try NEW things and places.

Have you ever been to Fantan Lake? Or any of the lakes in northern Wyoming? Did you love it? Was there anything interesting to see on the way there that we should definitely stop for? I have driven through the southern part of Wyoming and there was a whole lot of nothing! But, by the looks of things, Fantan Lake has lots of trees and mountains. Should be great no matter what!
