Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Reportedly Dating

It's 'The Vampire Diaries' meets 'Twilight' again!

Us Weekly is reporting that 'The Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder is now dating former 'Twilight' actress Nikki Reed. This would be the second time Somerhalder has dated a 'Twilight' actress, as he was briefly linked to Ashley Greene in 2009.

“Nikki Reed and Ian Somerholder are dating,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly. The site also posted photographs featuring Somerhalder, 35, and Reed, 26, looking comfortable in each other's arms. The two were spotted and photographed at various locations across the Los Angeles area over the weekend.

The two have been reportedly good friends for a while. Reed, however, has only become single again after her marriage to former 'American Idol' contestant Paul McDonald ended in March.

Reed is also close friend with Somerhalder's ex and 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Nina Dobrev. Both Reed and Dobrev, incidentally, have been also linked to 'Dancing With the Stars' performer Derek Hough.
