It's been an exciting year for ZooMontana. Earlier this summer the received their sloth, an adorable little guy named Winston. And today (10/27) they announced their latest addition, a grey wolf named Onyx. In a Tweet posted from the Zoo, they say that he came to Billings from Rapid City, SD and is the same age as their other new wolf pup named Simpson.

ZooMontana has been one of the few attractions around Billings that didn't have a ton of problems with social distancing capacity limits this summer. With 70 acres to spread out, it was pretty easy to maintain a six-foot distance from fellow zoo attendees. The Zoo is now operating with Winter hours and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

One thing missing this year is their annual Halloween trick-or-treat event, which has been canceled.  However, you can still experience some spooky thrills at one of the Sleepy Hollow Wagon Rides.

The wagon path winds its way through a variety of scenery and spooky sites as you listen to an animated story narration of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The experience has a Halloween theme and is intended to be eerie, yet is appropriate for families and all age groups. However, please be aware that the later it gets in the evening the experience naturally becomes more scary because of the darkness.

The remaining dates for the Sleepy Hollow Wagon Rides are Oct 29, 30 and 31. Reservations are highly recommended. Find full details HERE.
