Layaway Angels

Every day I read thru all kinds of news stories from various sources.  And every day I'm bombarded with sad, awful stories like one about a woman who burned her roommate with scorching hot cooking oil over a silly dispute.

Today, stuck in between crappy news headlines of death and destruction, I read an article that states that so far this holiday season, random strangers have paid over $130,000 on peoples layaway balances at Walmart stores across the US. How cool is that? Imagine the single mom, or working person, struggling to get their kids presents this year, going in to make a layaway payment and finding out their balance has been paid! Talk about the true Christmas spirit.  The world could definitely use more people like those "Layaway Angels" at Walmart.
