Instagram Releases New Feature to Combat Bullying

Instagram is staying true to their word about making their platform safer. They've teamed up with suicide prevention programs to create an artificial intelligence to help combat bullying. If a troll writes a comment on a photo or video that the AI finds mean or offensive, the user will receive a prompt that alerts them their language could be considered bullying. That alert will give the user a chance to possibly change or delete their words before they are able to post anything. (via ABC News)

HBO Announces Christmas-Themed Reality Dating Show

HBO Max, which is launching in May 2020, announced that there will be a reality dating show on its platform. It's going to be called 12 Dates of Christmas and "will follow a cast of singles as they step into a real-life romantic comedy full of cozy sweaters, fireside cuddles and mistletoe kisses, all arranged to help these souls find love — just in time for the holidays." Alleged Thief Flexes His $88K Haul on Social Media

A Wells Fargo employee in Charlotte North Carolina has been accused of stealing more than $88,000 in cash from the bank he worked at. 29-year-old Arlando Henderson allegedly stole cash from the bank’s vault, then later deposited the money into his own account using a nearby ATM. He also destroyed certain documents and made false entries in the bank’s books to cover up the alleged theft. But this is where it gets wild: Henderson went on social media and started flexing with selfies... of him holding the cash! (via The Shaderoom)
