Meet Fromberg Artist Elton Kirtley

Saturday was a great day for a pointless drive and I ended up passing through Fromberg. I have to say, an art gallery wasn't at the top of my list of things I expected to see in Fromberg, but I couldn't resist the "Art Sale" sign. The gallery is also the home of artist Elton Kirtley. Unbeknownst to me, he and his wife had just sat down for dinner when I rang the bell, but he insisted it was okay to come in and take a peek.

If you're into one of a kinds with Montana theme subjects, you should check out Elton's site TouchOfMontanaArt.com. He told me he hasn't had a lot of visitors this year, so if Fromberg is out of the way (most likely, it is), then Elton will happily sell you a quality piece over the internet.
