Montana Veterans Meat Locker Fundraiser

Here in Montana we all love to do activities outside. Fishing and hunting is pretty much how we spend our time. If you are one who loves it and wants to help out a great cause this is for you! The Montana Veterans Meat Locker needs out help to help out vets in need. If you have some extra meat you would like to donate that would be awesome. Deer, elk, fish, bison and so on it will help out a vet who otherwise may not have a meal. A lot of my family is military so this is near and dear to my heart.

They are having a fundraiser coming up on August 26th from noon till 5:00pm at 901 30th street. You can drop off some meat and also eat! Pork roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, salad, dessert and a drink for only $8.00. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle too. Come help out our vets in need. A few weeks back I learned about these guys and it touched my heart to know how many people they help. So after work I went home and cleaned out my freezer. I donated some fish and some elk. The next day I got a picture of the gentleman it was given to. The feeling I felt of seeing how happy and grateful he was is something I can not describe. Yes I cried.
