However, BE WARNEDthere is still some debate over the language involved in the terms if you enroll in the free identity theft protection they are offering.  Some attorneys say that the language could mean that you're agreeing to not be part of any class action suit against them.  Others say that the language doesn't apply to this particular service and wouldn't be enforceable anyway.  If you're concerned, you can contact Montana's Attorney General Tim Fox here.

To me, the whole concept of "we likely lost your information so give us your information so we can verify and in exchange we'll protect your information" seems pretty strange.  I verified that my information was indeed compromised, but I decided not to enroll in their free additional service.
