I happened to be up in the Heights last week, delivering free pizza to our Free Pizza Friday winners (congrats Heights Post Office!), and noticed a new sign at the former Golden Phoenix restaurant for the Tippy Cow Cafe.

Located at one the busiest intersections in Montana (4th in 2018 according to MDT) with over 39,600 people driving by each day, this does seem like a great spot for a sit-down, hearty breakfast kind of restaurant.

According to the Billings Gazette, the Tippy Cow Cafe is aiming to open in the next few weeks. When I was up there today (1/6) there were at least five different contractors on-site installing electrical, plumbing, A/V and other odds-n-ends. The owners say they will initially be open from 6 AM to 3 PM with what sounds like an awesome breakfast menu, as well as traditional cafe lunch items, like burgers and sandwiches.

Here's the cool part... they are planning to eventually be open 24 hours a day. I think that's great. There are not a lot of late-night dinner/breakfast choices around Billings and I think they'll do well catering to the after-concert crowd or 2 AM crowd. I'll give this place a try when they open and share a review with you.
