The Montana Department of Transportation will host an open house to discuss a new roundabout that's being proposed for the intersection of Rimrock Road and 62nd Street West.

Project team members will be available at Sanderson Stewart (1300 N. Transtech Way) on Wednesday, September 4 from 4-7pm to discuss the proposed roundabout that could begin construction as soon as 2021.

According to a post on the M.D.T. Facebook page, a roundabout at Rimrock and 62nd Street West would require utilities to be relocated and additional right of way to be purchased before construction could be completed.

M.D.T says the proposed project would remove the driving surface that currently takes motorists, heading west on Rimrock Road, around a curve that turns into 62nd Street West and eventually becomes Molt Road.
